The order system has a number of additional features beyond the basic level.
📄️ Manual Delivery Sizes
It is possible to manually set the delivery sizes for a requesting station on a per-item basis. When manual delivery sizes are set, inbound deliveries to the given station for the given item must exceed the given threshold in order to be routed.
📄️ Presence Mode
The Presence combinator mode detects the locomotive or wagon parked in front of the combinator. Use it when your circuit logic needs to treat locomotives, cargo wagons, and fluid wagons differently, or when it needs to know where within the train a given wagon is parked.
📄️ Wagon Control
When dealing with cargo orders that might be loading multiple items into multiple wagons, it can be helpful to load the wagons on an individual basis. That is where the wagon control combinator modes can be helpful.
